I was recording my keyframes simply using " I " but then I realised that I could use the Record button (that I have the arrow pointing to) and I was thinking this is great, kinda faster really to tell the truth and I did a whole little animation (very little at 6 seconds) but I was delighted, my first animation on Blender! But then I wanted to add some frames BEFORE my vid and that is where I realised that I found it impossible to delete the keyframes recorded by the Record button. Now, if I record a keyframe pressing "I" on the keyboard I can insert a keyframe (I select LocRot), I can move this keyframe, delete this keyframe, everything I would expect to be able to do with this keyframe. I have followed tutorials, I have read up and read up and read up about this but I simply can't delete these other keyframes. I am not "new" to blender by any means, but i am new to animation. I've been searching for a way to make an object disappear from sight at a particular key-frame, without moving it out of the camera view.
